Established in 1991 as CUE Technologies, Inc, CUETECH focused on providing companies with Computers, Upgrades, and Enhancements. This, in fact, was how CUE got its name. 

At a time when the cost for computer systems and related technology was quite substantial, companies opted to upgrade and enhance the performance of existing systems and equipment due to the high cost of replacement. Over time, as prices dropped and the frequency of new and improved product offerings increased, these companies opted to replace obsolete and out-of-production technology rather than upgrade.

There remained, however, many circumstances where the demand for obsolete, discontinued, and diminishing supply technologies stayed strong. This was particularly evident in the Defense, Aerospace Manufacturing and Healthcare sectors where equipment has to pass rigorous certification programs before moving into production.

Unless manufacturers were willing to perform expensive and lengthy recertification processes, maintenance of such equipment required that replacement parts be identical to the part being replaced. CUETECH, recognizing that this was a niche that remained mainly unfulfilled, began working with companies to help them source the equipment and parts they needed. 
 
Today CUETECH is the foremost source for hard-to-find and legacy high-tech products. Its customer base has increased to include High-Tech Equipment and Contract Manufacturers, Aerospace and Defense Contractors, Biomedical and Medical Equipment Manufacturers and high-tech resellers & distributors and it’s sourcing expertise has expanded to cover servers and parts, networking and storage products, electronic components, telecommunications equipment, medical imaging equipment and parts, test and measurement devices and more.
